Our windows have finally been installed! The trellis is still in progress, but it's beginning to feel like home again.

Cobble brick paving is complete.

Looking south from the Lynwood Theater. The entry for the new bakery, Pane D'Amore, is visible on the far right. Exquisite loaves of bread coming soon!

This is Rowan, our grandson. Now three years old, he dons a hat, grabs his guitar and heads out to the stoop to perform - just like grandpa.

Things are coming along! Trees and plants in the raised planters, shown here in front of our store, and along the curb borders.

A closer look at the brick walkway to fully appreciate the spectacular job by Foss Company Cobble Pavers (see link below).

The "Old Walt's Space" gets new windows and a new brick facade.

What a difference can be made in just 10 days!

Photos taken September 1, 2009 show much progress.
The walkway is level, patio is backfilled. We no longer have to walk over dirt mounds and wend between heavy equipment, or under ladders to enter the store.

Thanks to the great crew the project is moving along quickly.

Work begins. After several weeks shoring up the structure from the basement, reconstruction begins in earnest by razing "The Old Walt's Space" to build anew and include apartment space above. "Walts" was the only single level portion of the Lynwood Center building.

The movie title says it all.

Excellent new parking lot, with permeable, concrete cobble surface, plus new diagonal parking at the street. But, once the parking lot was completed they could tear out the walkways, and start renovations in earnest.

We truely thank everyone who continued to patronize our shop through the chaos. Thank you for parking down the road, dodging the diggers and tractors, and figuring our which door (or window) was available for access on a given day.

The Ol' Lynwood Center building endures the bone chilling winter '08.

Looking back on summer 2008. The front porch was quiet and sunny - days were spent playing music with friends.
